The sun shone as we decided that Liana would catch train to York and bus to Ripon to bring the car back, while John took Annie on the short trip through Ferrybridge flood lock, up the River Aire, to moorings at Castleford Cut, in readiness for a busy week bell ringing (twice), sailing (with Liana's school and manning safety boats at Lincoln sailing regatta), gardening, plus celebrating great niece Poppy's first birthday and John's brother granpops Phil's 60th!
