Kirkstead Bridge to Langrick Bridge

We had a pleasant day to motor down past Tattershall Bridge and Dogdyke to Langrick Bridge CRT visitors mooring. The gentleman on Dulcinea, a continuous cruiser, advised us to contact the CRT Enforcement Officer if we needed to moor for slightly longer than the permitted time. The twelve mile cycle ride was lovely, with the wind behind us! Also, we had a great view of the fen scenery. Cycle North, young man!
The garage the other side of the bridge sells red diesel for about 80p, but charges about £1 on the pontoon. Ordinary diesel was about £1.20, so I guess they were charging a 50:50 ratio of heating to propulsion diesel. We thought we'd pass.
